January 27, 2014 - Letter Home from Elder Bryen North

Date:  January 27, 2014
Area:  West Memphis, Arkansas
Companion: Elder Freddette

Dear Family Matters,

Right now we are teaching a woman named B****.  She likes us and doesn't have a problem with the Book of Mormon.  She keeps getting hung up on Joseph Smith though.

We are also teaching a girl named M****.  She is ready to be baptized and just needs to select a date.

The W**** took us out to eat at Andrey's.  It's a pizza buffet place like Cici's, but with more variety, availability of choices and includes a Mexican buffet as well.

I only see Sister Longshore when on exchanges in Lakeland, so I don't know if she made the assuage biscuits.

We took a trip to Wynne this week with Brother Jones.  Wynne is in our area despite being further away than the Temple.  It's hard to get out there since there is a limit to how far we can drive the car and the fact that it takes so long to get there.  We might go up again later this week or the next.

I'm excited for Taylor and all those going out on missions.  I'm going to come back with no one to hang with!  All the cool cats are headed off to preach the gospel! (that's how you know they're the coolest of the cats)

- Elder North

Sister Longshore e-mailed and asked for the sausage biscuit recipe.  It is very yummy.  Elder North must have been talking about it.

Taylor is Elder North's cousin who just got his call this week and will be leaving at the start of April for Washington.

Please take the time and send Elder North a note, I know he would like it.
